For the imperfect Fashion lover.

Wardrobe Tour part 3... the finale!

Wardrobe Tour part 3 | Saving the Best until Last | Fake Fabulous

This is the final instalment of my wardrobe tour and I've saved the best until last!
The final wardrobe instalment is my second wardrobe and it's full of my favourite things.

  • Coats
  • Jackets
  • Bags
  • Shoes

I have more coats and jackets than I do any other individual item (apart from socks... I have a thing about them.)
Coats and jackets are an essential part of any Scottish outfit regardless of the season!

See part 1 of my wardrobe tour (with loads of organisation tips and tricks) HERE.
See part 2 of the tour HERE.

Let's dive right in and take a look...

As with my main wardrobe, my coats and jackets are curated each season and the lighter spring and summer coats are put into storage (in a sealed box in the loft).

On the right of this wardrobe are my long coats.
I also have a few coats in our front hall cupboard.
Some winter weight, some summer weight.
The front hall coats are mostly waterproofs and purely practical (you know the type of coats I mean!)
The coats in this wardrobe are slightly more special.

There are some vintage gems in here and I love them all!

In the middle, I have shelves full of my bags.
Some are cheap and cheerful and some are vintage.
I have a soft spot for each and every one of them.

On the right side are my short jackets.
I've quite a mix of colours and styles.
I sometimes wear one of these under one of the longer coats for extra warmth... and style points too!

In the cubby holes are my gym clothes, clutch bags and gloves.

On this wooden shelf at the bottom of the wardrobe are my current favourite shoes (the ones I'm wearing every day) plus my soft hats.
I keep my structured hats on top of a bookshelf where I can see them clearly.

Finally, my other shoes.
I have seasonal shoes on the highest shelf as well as those shoes that have fallen out of favour.
I never throw out shoes that are of good quality.

Obviously, if they don't fit properly, or are very uncomfortable for my feet, they go to a new home BUT shoe fashions come and go in a cycle.
Styles and colours always come back around and real quality never dates.

On the lower shelf are shoes I'm wearing regularly.
Shoes that may or may not take my fancy on any given day, depending on my mood.

I love looking at all of my shoes and I often get inspiration for an entire outfit just by looking at them for a few moments!

So that's it!
There are all of my clothes laid bare for you to see.
I certainly don't have an extensive or fancy wardrobe BUT I have a collection of clothes (and accessories) that I genuinely love.
PLUS... no duplicates to be seen and that makes me very happy!

Thank you so much for visiting.
I hope that you have enjoyed having a look around my wardrobe.
