What is the most awkward (and unflattering) length of skirt?
In my opinion it's the midi!{What is yours?}
The midi-length hemline can look seriously frumpy.
This vintage midi skirt was originally part of a wedding outfit worn by my (4' 10") MIL in the 80's.

This midi skirt must have been a maxi on her!
Because of my current birthday-cake-&-can't-be-bothered-doing-any-exercise food baby, this midi is VERY unflattering on the the tummy area!
An elasticated waist and textured pleats coming straight for the waistband....yikes!Not a great look.
Luckily, wearing a sloppy jumper over your midi skirt is a 'trend' at the moment... Phew!
The statement sleeves on this jumper offer even more distraction from my mid-section.
I also borrowed my daughter's new adidas superstars.
I love them!
{I am secretly hoping she grows out of them... and soon!!}
Sshhhh...don't tell her I wore them today 😮.
This outfit felt current and incredibly comfortable.
