10 Great Summer Fake Fabulous Reads
I'm taking a long-overdue break from the blogosphere... 3 weeks in total... and it feels so good (if a little strange!).
It's weird to be removed from the digital world, and my online blogging family, BUT it needs to be done from time-to-time.
Having time off stops us from having a digital meltdown.
Hopefully, my time away will leave me feeling full ideas and ZING!
I've decided to drop in halfway through my break to leave you with a few links that you might enjoy reading.
Man Repelling Outfit | All-Green Summer Outfit
Today's outfit is a real man-repeller!
I'm mixing a whole host of dubious designs together and it's certainly not to everyone's taste.
Some will find this outfit fun.
Others...how can I put this?...
Awkward?
Ugly even?
Boring Disclaimer:
Obviously, this post is supposed to be a bit of fun and not meant to be taken seriously.
I'm not saying ALL men hate the colour green, or chunky platform shoes, or baggy ruffles etc. etc. etc.
Bottom line is: If you're easily offended you'd better read something else.
Summer OOTD | Shorts over 40 | Ugly Knees
Knees are ugly.
There, I've said it!
I know, I know.... we're all meant to be on the body positivity train...
BUT.
Even the loveliest of legs and the prettiest of knees are still, well.... knees!
Knobbly.
Bobbly.
Lumpy.
And that's just the young and beautiful people!
Then we hit forty and...
Oh Lordy Lord... what just happened?
Last minute outfit | Summer Style
This outfit was a last-second-throw-on look for an impromptu afternoon/evening out.
I was going out for a mixture of (minimal) shopping AND lots of nonsense.
(One or two dirty martinis may have been involved.)
Needless to say, I had a great time!
This outfit was a last-minute throw on and, much like my emergency I've-slept-in outfit, needed minimal thought!

All I did was grab a selection of pieces that I love and have never let me down.
Forget the Zara spotty IT dress! | Unique style |1980's Vibes
What a fun look this is!
A nod to the '80s but easy to wear and super-comfortable.
Perfect for a casual evening out.
This Jacket was originally a dress that I found in a charity shop.
A sad looking dress with a broken full-length zip and a saggy bum.
Out came the scissors and 'Voila!' a unique denim jacket with oodles of personality.
Wearing unique clothing is very important to me.
The thought of having the same look as everyone else fills me with dread.
Take the latest IT dresses... like that spotty one from Zara.
If you live in the UK you probably know which dress I'm talking about.
You might even have it hanging in your wardrobe!
This spotty dress...
Vintage 1950s dress | Summer Outfit
This dress is definitely a little bit cutesy and twee.
Oh-so-twee and oh-so-sweet.
Oh, how I LOVE IT!
